Ten Gates
Representing ten principle directions described in hindu indian culture, the ten gates reflects the vedic sentiment of inviting goodness from everywhere to all visitors.
The gete of devition celebrates the vedic tradition of dual worship. offering devotion to god and his choicest devotee is the genuine form of worship. 208 sculpted dual forms of god and his devotees are decorates this splendid gate.
The peacock is symbol of beauty and purity. it is also the national bird of india. the two mayur dwars pay tribute to the joy and colour peacoks add to life. total 869 sculpted peacocks adom each of the beautyful gates.
Foot prints
Between two mayur dwars are the holy footprints of the lord swaminarayan in memory of his incarnation on the earth, they are carved out of white marbles and bear the 16 sacred signs of the god. water is continuosly showered on them from four auspicious conch shells in tribute to his inspiring life and work.

Akshardham Monument
The focal point of the entire complex is the grand akshardham monument, built of pink stones and white marbles with 234 carved pillars, 9 domes, 20 pinnacles, 20,000 superbly sculpted figures with following Murti, Mandovar and GajendraPith..
